Well, in Connie's world she makes dramatic changes within hours! Her zest and spitfire is taking over and she lifted her bad leg several inches midday. Granted, she couldn't move her bad arm like she did yesterday. Then, she started communicating that she wanted to eat and drink but they wouldn't give her anything until she could prove she could swallow. So, she did just that later in the day after moving out of ICU and went through therapy. She was rewarded with puréed food!
We are so pleased with her continued progress and are prayerful that it will continue in a positive direction. We are told to expect plateaus, but our Connie is on a mission! Praise God!
